Ready for another great year - 2026!
We’ve been taking a mini break since last Fall to add a new set, full of original songs, some crowd favorites, and of course more hidden gems that we know you will like…even if you don’t know them.
We’ll be playing Mckenzie’s in Fairfax, Dogwood Tavern in Falls Church, and William Jeffery’s in Arlington as well as some private parties and looking for additional spots to play. Let us know if you have a favorite hangout.
We are also excited to open for Andrew Deerin to kick off the year, look for details for that show at Gig’s Courtyard. We’ll be opening at 6pm and warm up the stage with a jam packed set to start what will be an epic night.
Finally and most importantly, Marc Taylor has been jamming with us lately adding vocal harmonies, percussion, and just overall great vibes. We look forward to playing with him this year, if you get a chance to see the three of us together—it’ll be a real treat.

the Pauls
More than two decades after playing together in a successful college band in the 1990’s, Paul Hicks and Paul Molholm re-found their passion for playing together and started performing acoustic sets again in 2023. They play a creative and fun mix of songs as they continue to support live music in Northern Virginia. They have played to enthusiastic audiences at local venues such as Mackenzie’s Tunes and Tonics, Earp’s Ordinary, Velocity Wings, and multiple private shows in the area. Known for playing energetic original music and a thoughtfully curated mix of Rock, Indie, Alternative, Americana and Pop songs that spans decades of great music, the Pauls will never play a song exactly the way you have heard it before. The Pauls are living proof the Generation X can still bring a good time to a night out.
